About KinematicSoup
KinematicSoup builds tools that make it practical to add real-time networking and collaborative workflows to Unity projects. Multiplayer is one of the hardest parts of game development, and the infrastructure needed to do it well has historically required significant custom engineering work on top of whatever engine you're using.
Our focus is on the hard parts: deterministic state synchronization, bandwidth efficiency at scale, and real-time collaboration between distributed development teams. We want studios of any size to be able to ship multiplayer games and tools without rebuilding that infrastructure from scratch.
Recognition
Epic Games recognized KinematicSoup with a MegaGrant for contributions to real-time technology and developer tooling, specifically for Scene Fusion's development, including a new C++ core built to power real-time collaboration across any engine.
